When Bristow Montessori School (BMS) was just an idea, it was envisioned as being in the town center of a great community. Like an olden day school house—a place where neighbors would convene, spend time, shop, and have their kids learn in a safe and conveniently accessible community environment.
Bristow was the community. Bristow Commons was the perfect place.
Bristow Montessori School was founded on the basic premise that it be the center of excellence for early childhood learning in the DC-Metro area. Its mission is focused on quality of teaching and the school is rooted in making a profound connection with the community. In fact, over the past 2 years, BMS has hosted a farmer’s market each Sunday on their parking lot from 10 am to 2 pm.
Five years later, BMS continues to be a wonderful tenant and has exceeded Bristow Commons’ expectations. The school has embraced our community and our community has embraced BMS in return. BMS is thrilled to be the original anchor of Bristow Commons, and honored to be the first Montessori School in Western Prince William County.
BMS has children from as young as 6 weeks old all the way through 3rd grade. They are a true Montessori school, and are a member of the American Montessori Society (AMS) and the International Montessori Council (IMC).
